Behavior Management Plan

Green   Great Day!   Keep up the great work!

Yellow   Your child has received a warning that he or she is not following rules or expectations.  The rule will be re-taught and discussed with your child.

Orange   Consequence 1-   The rule will also be re-taught and discussed with your child.

Red   Consequence 2-   The rule will also be re-taught and discussed with your child.   You will receive a call or note home.   Child will discuss behavior with principal.

Basics:

□   Each child will have a clothespin with his or her name on it

□   Each child begins the day on green

□   The child will move their “pin” to the next color if not following directions or rules.

□   If a behavior is severe and causes a danger to your child or any other child’s safety, the child will move their pin to black.

□   I will only ever take away the morning or afternoon unstructured time/recess.  Students will always have their mid-day recess unless it is taken away by the principal.

Behavior Chart:  I will have a behavior chart in the center of the blue take-home folder.  Your child will color in his/her color for the day.  Please initial it on each day’s date so that I know you saw what color he or she was on for the day.
