I recommend sending in a check or cash to pre-pay for an amount of time OR using the online service listed below

If you send in a check, please make it payable to Ashland City Schools.

For example, if you know that your child is going to be buying lunch every day during the week,

then send in all of the money at the same time.

It is easy for lunch money to be lost, so please put it in an envelope with:

Your Child's Name

Lunch Money

Lunch Concerns:  Many kindergarten students have a difficult time adjusting to eating more quickly and the louder volume in the cafeteria.  It is very typical for students not to finish their entire lunch.  I recommend you packing a sandwich, a side, and a drink.  Students can get very overwhelmed if there is too much food in their lunch box.  If you notice an on-going problem with the amount of food that your child is eating, please contact me and I will do what I can to ask the noon duty aides to keep an eye on your child.

  Snacks

We will be having afternoon snack every day.  I will be sending home a snack calendar monthly.  Please make sure you bring enough snack for 24 students.  Please make sure that this is a healthy snack and that you provide all necessary items for the snack (cups, napkins, plates, etc.)

When your child is the Student of the Week or bringing a birthday treat, this snack doesn't need to be a healthy one.
