LIFE SKILLS- 9 week course for 7th graders (Foreign Lang. exploratory)

WHAT IS THE LS FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASS ALL ABOUT???

The purpose of this class is to encourage you to become successful citizens in today’s global community by learning basic communication skills in more than one language and by building appreciation for cultural diversity.

In the French & Spanish units, we will cover many topics including: greetings, goodbyes, numbers, colors, school objects, days of the week, months of the year, polite words. In Latin, we will cover Roman history, numerals, greetings, body parts vocabulary, and the English connection to prefixes/suffixes/roots.
