How to add animation 1. Right click on the text box or image. 2. Choose custom animation: On the right side a new menu will appear. 3. Click on Add Effect: There are 4 options in the drop down menu.
4. Each item will now show a number. That number is the order that the animation will happen. You can then choose to have the animation appear on the click or when the slide opens with a delay set for each. This is under the start option. There is also a direction and speed option. 5. Use the play button to preview what you have created to make sure it works for the presentation you plan to give. Keep in mind your audience wants to be entertained and not wait for your words and pictures to show up on screen.
To create a hyperlink to a website Right click on the image or word (do not write the website into the power point that takes up too much space). Choose Hyperlink. To link it to a website find the Address line and copy/paste the site to that box, or if you've already visited the site it should appear in the drop down menu.
